If you’re from “the island” as “the Islanders” like to say, then the name J.T. means a lot to many. Newport’s most famous businessman, civic leader and philanthropist, J.T. O’Connell was a legend. From humble beginnings selling boating supplies to fishermen in Newport Harbor, he founded what is now known today as Newport Restaurant Group. No one outworked J.T. and our teams bring that spirit everyday. He loved this community and gave it so much, so now we give you a little place to gather with your crew, named in honor of a true original.
